The turn out was really good, and really positive as many of the Best and Brightest of Underground Artists filed into the World Renowned Lab in Bed Stuy, Brooklyn to take part in the 2012 All Star Music Awards Presented by Xtreme 104 FM. J Fontaine is a New Jersey bred entertainer and contributor to the genre of Hip Hop and its overall culture.. As a former hip hop break-dancer early on in his career, J Fontaine and his crew witnessed commercial success by way of their talented being showcased in many music videos, as well as experience of packed clubs with much fanfare for their creative choreography.  Payment for their skill-set was a norm, and with that came much acclaim.  J Fontaine's enthusiasm for creativity and love for the art of Hip Hop and its music, led to his desire to grow as an artists and seek to master the other elements of the entertainment industry.  Fontaine began to learn about the elements of production.

 While crafting his talents on the turntables, he was also establishing meaningful relationships with top executives and move makers in the industr. Introducing himself to the music industry’s elite, at every chance J. Fontaine built a network of names that led to his connection with several American Idol contestants who lent their vocals to some of J’s tracks.  J. Fontaine, a Pennsylvania-born Italian, knows music goes deeper than superficial standards and has been welcomed into the Hip Hop community by eager ears.
As a performer and a producer J. Fontaine’s passion runs deep.  His work ethic is unparalleled by others who are on the rise, and his talent is palpable.  Along with the success of his break dancing career, J. Fontaine appeared as an extra on MTV’s critically acclaimed Hip Hop Series "Direct Effect" hosted by the legendary DJ Clue; He has also had stints on Comedy Central’s Strangers with Candy, as well as experienced international airplay & mentions for his HIT SINGLE “Pull It Over” Coupled with the success of "Pull It Over" J Fontaine has worked his way into BDS spins on major radio stations for his buzz-worthy offering “Hoffa at Me.” 
As an executive, he has established an imprint Jersey Mint Records, which houses some of the NorthEast's brightest up and coming music stars of many genres.  his latest project, debut album entitled J. Fontaine Presents, features his own music production as well as production by Knoxx and collaborations with some of Jersey’s biggest Hip Hop Stars like Joe Budden and Serius Jones.
