The Latiq Agard Foundation hosted an event for over 100 guests who enjoyed a night of cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, heard from guest speakers Jean Alerte, author of “Do
Right, Do Good: An Easy-To-Use Guidebook Towards Vision Fulfillment and Entrepreneurship”, Dominique Sharpton, President, Education For a Better America, and Javier Saldanas, founder, Right the Wrongs -- all for a great cause.
The mission of AGARD is to provide mentors to adolescent males who need caring adult role models who can help expand their horizons, realize their potential and enrich their futures--changing their lives.

Launch Event for
Glam in the City Pop Up Shop Tour
New York, NY – April 9, 2013 – Saturday night Celebrity Fashion Stylist, Image Consultant and Fashion Writer Fatima Tan'ia hosted the launch party for the red carpet launch of "Glam in the City" at the Nail Lounge, 4752 Broadway New York, NY 10040.
Trendsetters, tastemakers, media, makeup bloggers and fashion mavens were treated to tasty cupcakes created by event sponsors Sweet Tiqua and Tea’s Cupcakes, and enjoyed cocktails and hors d’ouerves as they received beauty consultations, manicures courtesy of the Nail Lounge and mini-makeovers by professional makeup artists Native Elianor, Kristyl Newell and Nori Rane.
Special guests that attended this event include Actress Bree Michael Warner, TV Producer Indira Wilburn, BWTV Producer Anissa Rochester, Philadelphia Black Public Relations Society President Darisha Miller, Sports Publicist Parisnicole Payton, Celebrity Designer Ms. Royal and Beauty Blogger Anyke Brown.
After a successful launch event for "Glam in the City," Perception & Co. is preparing to host her pop up shops throughout New York City's 5-boroughs.
