Meet Frito

FRITO grew up like the majority of his peers, in a single parent house hold with just his mother, a matriarch who worked mightily at trying to guide him through the jungle that was his home. Born and raised in the downtown section of Harlem, home to some of the most notorious street legends, hustlers and basketball players NYC has ever seen, it seemed as though 1 of those 3 options would be his only way out. Not gifted in basketball and not patient enough to rap, FRITO got caught up in the addiction of fast money and began selling drugs at a very young age. His youthful years were marred by continuous run ins with the law,

The years to come would unfortunately be more of the same. However negative it would seem, there is something to be said about the true ambition of a hustler, a true visionary; one who has the uncanny ability to turn a negative into a positive. That positivity would strike upon his being releasedfrom a 6 year prison sentence. FRITO decided It was time to utilize alternative means to living the same dream that he always desired- TO BE GREAT!

With the mundane aside, FRITO drew on his love and affinity for the HIP HOP culture. RAPPING became his #1 priority. Always known to be clever with words, humorous and have a unconditional love for music FRITO knew that this was what he was destined to do..

Presently working on his upcoming mixtape entitled 12 STEPS TO GREATNESS Frito brings originality and vivid images of the experiences he's seen and felt firsthand through clever lyrics. His penchant for imagery, and story telling ability can be seen witnessed on the projects 1st single CASANOVA...
