They say good things come to those who wait. I heard a remark from Hov that signing with Roc Nation means that you have the patience necessary to build your brand and your buzz. No one has done a better job of that than J Cole; seemingly placed under heavy pressure being co-signed by "the big homey" but J Cole has handled it well, perfecting his flow and grind.
