MEET THE NEW BASKETBALL WIVES
Last night was the reunion for season 2 of Basketball Wives L.A. *snore* and continuing in her whirlwind of reality TV domination, Shaunie is right back @ it with the next season of the original Basketball Wives, which is currently being filmed in both Miami and New York.
Recently the announcement of the 2 replacements, for Meeka Claxton has been announced. If you all remember, Meeka was not well received, and very controversial, and in conclusion had to go.
MEET THE NEWEST HOUSEWIVES...
In this corner we have former Miss Michigan USA, estranged wife of Michigan State Spartan star, and current Golden State Warrior Charlie Bell, the lovely yet feisty Kenya Bell. If you remember, Kenya was arrested this past May for stabbing Charlie in front of their 2 children, and subsequently released on $5,000 bond after being charged with domestic violence as well as assault with a deadly weapon. Rumor has it that she has already been getting into the mix of things, aka beefing on the show. You can only use your imagination to guess who.
And in this corner we have the lovely ex-fiance of San Antonio Spurs guard Richard Jefferson, Kesha Bell. Kesha was the victim of Richards presumed cold feet, as he left her at the altar after the two meet when Jefferson was starring for the New Jersey Nets, and Kesha was a cheerleader.
MY OPINION.....
I almost got ahead of myself and expected better than this here, but common sense prevailed and I remembered its for entertainment purposes only. Of course they would make selections like this; on the one hand, no disrespect to Kesha but she's irrelevant. Sad about what happened to her but lets be serious, and Kenya Bell....
My question is would they allow a man whom had committed a domestically violent act to heightened his brand and further his career. Miss Michigan aside (for the sake of the argument) what is her claim to fame? And furthermore, should Shaunie and VH1 be rewarding her behavior? You be the judge.
