Queen Latifah, Jill Scott, Alfre Woodard, and Phylicia Rashad to star in "Steel Magnolias"

The Queen once again subtantiates her thrown, and in a manner that should turn out to make us all extremely proud. Beginning with the cast, Queen Latifah has showed herself to be flawless in blueprint; casting Phylicia Rashad, Jill Scott, Alfre Woodard, as well as Phylicia Rashad's daughter Condola to play the roles of the ladies.  The adaptation of the classic film, produced by Queen Latifah of course, and Kenny Leon-directed will debut on Sunday, October 7th at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on LIFETIME.
