EXCUSES EXCUSES

Raymond Felton had a spark when he started now he's just......COMPLAINING.

The New York Time reports, "That's the problem right now," a prickly Felton said after the Knicks' 113-96 blowout loss to the Lakers on Friday night. "It's just that it's being talked about too much."

Felton said what many have believed for the past two weeks: That the constant rumor mill is starting to become a distraction for the Knicks on the court. Friday's loss dropped the Knicks to 4-8 since Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov pulled New Jersey out of the 'Melo sweepstakes.

That made the Knicks the frontrunners for the Nuggets forward's services and placed them squarely in the NBA's trade-deadline spotlight. Since then, a bevy of New York players have been linked to a possible Anthony deal. Wilson Chandler, likely a principle piece in any Anthony package, has insisted that the talk is not affecting him, although he has indicated that he would like to remain in New York.

We dont do too well with that in NYC; not to be putting the brother down or nothing but WINNING is the only thing of acceptance at this point. We have waited too long (12 years literally) for good product to be showcased at Madison Square Garden. I have been to a couple games this year and I can definitely say that the morale is up. In addition you can tell by the heightening of Knicks national broadcast's besides on MSG, their home network. I have been paying attention and realize that every team with a winning record, or a star player that comes to NY pretty much is guaranteed ESPN or TNT coverage. You cannot beat that, nor can you say it was happening in prior years since our the Knicks 1999 Finals run.

With that being said I think it is imperative of Ray and the rest of the guys to just do it like Nike says- if not New York City will give him more to complain about, ask any of his fore-partners in NY Sports. This is the big time here.
And when its all said and done whose not gonna be excited about the prospect of acquiring one of the TOP 5 PLAYERS IN THE WORLD.

No excuses accepted, a loss is a loss, and its understandable that perfection doesnt exist, especially in Sports. No one is expecting the world so soon, rome wasnt built in a day, but we would like a slice of paradise.
